Early in development, the Loud family was originally going to be a family of rabbits, and instead of 11 children, there were going to be 26, a reference to the fact that rabbits can reproduce so quickly. An employee at Nickelodeon suggested to Savino that it would be best if the characters were humans. This abandoned concept was eventually explored in the Season 3 episode, "White Hare." Chris Savino based The Loud House on his own experiences growing up in a large family. He pitched the idea to Nickelodeon in 2013 as a 2½-minute short for their annual Animated Shorts Program. The pitch was approved for pilot development on January 30, 2014.[4] In June 2014, Nickelodeon announced that The Loud House had been picked up for a season of 13 episodes.

Upon arrival in Tennessee following some setbacks, Lincoln finds Charlie with a boy named Marcus who is her new boyfriend. Meanwhile, Lynn Sr. has the rest of the Loud sisters be given Lily-based tasks that can't be traded when it comes to tending to Lily much to the annoyance of Rita who is on a deadline to finish an article. The 84th Annual Royal Woods Kids Have Talent Competition is occurring as the Loud family works to beat the Torkelson family who have beaten them many times. Howard and Harold McBride are hosting the Royal Woods Talent Competition. As the only person to not have a worthy talent, Lincoln enlists Clyde to help him find a talent only to end up competing with Clyde in yodeling until they compete with Thor Torkelson.
A Loud House Christmas
Newspaper comic strips are also influences on the show's background art. Thanks to the show's success, Lincoln became a mascot for Nickelodeon (behind SpongeBob) in 2017. Outside of The Loud House franchise itself, Lincoln was the second guest star in the Unfiltered episode "Bunny Money", making him the first animated character to be featured on that show. Lincoln Albert Loud is the middle child and only son of the eponymous family on The Loud House, on which he is the overall protagonist, and also an occasional guest character in its spin-off The Casagrandes. He is an avid reader of comic books and he frequently speaks to the viewer on how he gets around the chaotic conditions of the household by finding creative solutions to his problems (though this became less frequent from the second season onward).

Unfortunately, Lincoln ends up getting detention, which Lana apologizes to him for. In "Changing the Baby" he invited her to play in ghost hunting, but she refused by explaining they are her friends. Said poem also appears to be inspired by him since it includes the phrase "man with a plan", which is what Lincoln calls himself at times.

The board said the cartoons featured "disturbing content glorifying homosexual behavior" which was not suitable for children. Lincoln is incredibly calm, as in the episode "Not a Loud", he wasn't panicking about the possibility of being adopted. He was also calm when he was telling his parents about the clues that made him believe he's adopted. Despite this, he always appears in the title card for each episode even when he has little to no involvement in the story (except for the Casagrandes mini-series at the beginning of the fourth season).
Crime documentaries keep him up at night (in a good way), and he has watched enough to plot the perfect crime. Not only does he research the cases he writes about, but he also loves to talk about them in detail with his friends. Furthermore, the Paramount Plus with SHOWTIME plan includes all of the above, removes the ads except in limited circumstances, and also includes SHOWTIME originals, movies, and sports along with CBS live TV and college football.
Hunn-cutt Gems/Can't Lynn 'Em All
Lincoln is 11 (later 12 as of Season 6) years old and the only boy in the Loud family. He is an avid fancier of comic books and manga, which he often enjoys reading in his underwear. In "The Loudest Yard", Rita couldn't bear Lincoln's lazy lifestyle, so he tried to convince him to do some exercises instead of reading comics and playing video games. After she discovered he doesn't take it seriously, she assigned him to play in a football team to force him to be more active. Rita was furious at Lincoln when she discovered he persuaded Lynn Jr. to impersonate him during his football matches. In "The Waiting Game", the entire story centers around their relationship.
Zach leaves Lincoln's slumber party, knowing about the sisters all too well. In "Friendzy", after his sisters caught on to his "Playing the Friend Card" idea, he invites Liam over to regain the special privileges. Rosa, like the rest of the Casagrande family believe Lincoln to be Ronnie Anne's boyfriend, much to his chagrin, though despite that, Lincoln gets along well with Rosa. When Lincoln arrives to the Casagrande residence, Rosa happily offers to cook for Lincoln, assuming he must be famished, to which Lincoln takes the offer. After the meal, Lincoln is suffering from a stomach ache, and Rosa uses her special technique to make him feel better. Nickelodeon and its YouTube channel have done a series of podcasts called Listen Out Loud, where each member of the Loud family does a podcast revolving around their topics.

The Loud family
In "Mall of Duty", they put Lincoln in charge of taking care of his younger sisters, while Lynn Sr. takes Lynn Jr. to rugby practice, and Rita takes Lori, Leni, Luna, and Luan to a high school open house. In "Yes Man", it's revealed that he is good at convincing his parents to give him money, but when he tries to do so after all his sisters did, they say no due to having no more to give. In "Future Tense", both parents were concerned about Lincoln's future, but they just forced him to read educational comics instead of going on extracurricular activities like the rest of the sisters (minus Lily). Lisa considers him and the rest of the sisters, as not very intelligent. Lincoln and Lisa don't seem to have many problems with each other, a part from Lisa's sometimes harmful experiments.
Stanley Chang (voiced by Ken Jeong) is the Chinese father of Sid and Adelaide. He works as a subway conductor in Great Lakes City's subway system called the GLART (short for Great Lakes Area Rapid Transit). Rosa Casagrande (voiced by Sonia Manzano)[38] is Ronnie Anne and Bobby's grandmother, Maria and Carlos' mother, and Lupe and Lazaro's daughter. She is the matriarch of the Casagrande family and the building manager of their apartment building.
Along with Lana and Lily, she has the best younger sister relationship with Lincoln. At school, Lucy is a part of the Morticians' Club with similar students. Lucy has a bust of the vampire Edwin, who is from her favorite book and TV series The Vampires of Melancholia. While she pledges to be with Edwin in the afterlife, her crush is Rusty Spokes' younger brother Rocky. Lucy is a 3rd grader at Royal Woods Elementary School for the first four seasons and attends school with her siblings Lincoln, Lana, Lola, and Lisa.
In the past few months, the Loud House has been kicked up a notch when Lynn's new friend Zia has been hanging out. Clyde has been jealous that Zia has taken over his position of the "12th Loud". When Lori comes home, she meets Zia who got on to the Sister Group Chat.
